Snufflers Need Love, Too

Timmie and his sister Cassie were brought to PAWS as tiny little "bottle babies" with their siblings. They all had upper respiratory infections, but for some reason the strand Timmie and Cassie had was not responding to antibiotics. Soon all their siblings were adopted and it was just these two left. They had been sick most of their young lives and at one point even had ring worm!

Because of the upper resp. infection they had most of their lives, Timmie and Cassie were "snufflers". It had damaged their nasal passageways so they'll always have some degree of sneezing and "snuffling" their whole lives even though they are no longer sick. We were worried no one would ever want one, let alone the pair (as they were only going to be adopted out together, they had become very close and loved one another very much).

Then... FINALLY... their day came. After being with PAWS their whole 8 months of life someone finally wanted them!! Someone looked past the snuffling and saw the amazing kittens that they were. And so on Saturday, March 9th, Timmie and Cassie found their forever home.

I never realized just how much love I had for these two until I was at their foster's house yesterday and they weren't there. These two were very awesome kittens and I'm glad they've finally found where they belong.. <3
